Los Cabos was born and became a great Tourist Destination with all the great Hotels, Resorts and Golf Courses thanks to Marlin Sportfishing.  

          Cabo San Lucas became the Marlin Sportfishing Capital of the World; many other species of fish may be caught with great challenge.  You just never know what you might catch in the rich waters surrounding Los Cabos as I was finding out. It was the third hour of fighting the biggest fish of my life and victory was anything but assured. What made this more of a challenge was the fact that I was in a small panga and battling an estimated 300-pound blue marlin. 

          I had been out for a couple of hours in the late afternoon targeting the abundant Dorado that inhabit these waters when the monster marlin engulfed my miniscule offering. Finally after one of the most exciting and exhausting encounters that I have ever had we parted company at the boat. I started the lonely trip to port reflecting on how unbelievable fishing can be in these fertile waters.
